Description
This collection presents a broad spectrum of piano works ranging from deeply romantic (Daydreaming, Train of Thought, Sália) to furious and powerful (Following the Red Queen, Apology, Racing the Storm, Epic). The rest fall somewhere in between.

I would not generally describe these pieces as either easy-listening or new-age since many of them tend to have a more energetic and forceful tone that those genres often present. Best to call this album neoclassical and leave it at that.

If you like Beethoven and Chopin, you will like the music on this album.

Breadcrumbs
If it isn't too rude of me to ask, I would very much like to know how you found my music, my website, and this album. Such feedback helps me determine what methods of publicity and promotion are successful in reaching people and which are not. I must admit, I am wandering in a something of a fog on this whole self-promotion thing. A quick email will suffice, and is, of course, entirely optional.

Thank you.

Thoughts on Individual Song Sales In return, I promise that no song is filler, they are all genuine, complete, hard-worked compositions. This is evident in the fact that Solo Piano is only about fifty-two minutes long. I have a lot more music I could have included, but these eleven pieces are the ones I considered worthy of this album. Since I assign a selling price based on the number of tracks on my CD, it should be clear that by limiting the music on the album, I am limiting my own income, all in the interests of keeping the quality of the album at a premium. You pay less, I earn less, and the album is top-notch.

Second, logistically, my current Paypal setup is not condusive to micropayments, as they are often called; the fees on micropayments are very high. For example, if I sold a song for $0.99, then $0.33 would go straight to Paypal, or 33% of my sale price. By comparison, when selling the album as an MP3 collection for $7.99, $0.53 goes to Paypal, or 6%. It seems fair to neither me nor the customer that nearly a third of the sale price goes to processing fees.
Why don't I sell my songs on an individual basis? There are two reasons.

First, I must admit, I am hurt to think some of my music might go entirely unheard just because it isn't considered a chart-topping hit catchy enough to garner a solo download. I adore my music, I pour my every breath into it. When I work on a song, it envelopes me for weeks. Some artists churn out two albums full of music a year. I, on the other hand, have produced about five albums worth of completed polished works in seventeen years. My compositions take weeks to complete, they are not whimsical side-thoughts. Bottom line, I really want people to hear them, and I think a full album is the best way to give every song its fair chance.
